MINERAL PAINT
Mineral, silicate-based paint for interiors, highly breathable, natural anti-mould.
Mineralpaint is mainly used for the restoration and reconstruction of historic and monumental buildings. Unlike traditional paints, it does not physically adhere to the support but reacts chemically with it.
The final appearance of the painting is therefore not uniform, depending on the quality of the plaster below.

Suitable for restoration work
Thanks to its high breathability and permeability, silicate paint is especially suitable for restoration work. It is particularly suitable for walls of buildings affected by humidity, such as old buildings with thick stone load-bearing walls or houses located near rivers, lakes or in coastal areas, i.e. places where maximum breathability is required.
This technology is used both on recently built buildings and on buildings undergoing architectural restoration and, therefore, ancient buildings.
For the reasons listed above, silicate paint represents a suitable alternative to the more traditional lime paint. Compared to the latter, in fact, although it has a similar mineral structure, it ensures superior performance and durability, especially in relation to its high resistance to weathering and physical and mechanical phenomena.
