Epoxy galvanizer
The galvanizers can be mono or bicomponent, are liquid and consist of one or more resins that provide the final film properties of elasticity and adhesion. The charges contained must have a particle size such as to leave a certain degree of porosity on the final film in order to allow better release of the solvents. The high quality primers should also contain a certain amount of pigments having a strong anti-corrosive activity.
The primers necessary to protect structures exposed to extreme chemical or environmental factors also contain moderate quantities of zinc powder which is excellent in the fight against corrosion. This type of primer can have an organic or inorganic nature.
